We recommend scheduling your inspection during the second trimester (weeks 14–27). This gives you enough time to address any issues before your due date, while avoiding the most sensitive first trimester. However, any time during pregnancy is better than not testing at all.
A standard inspection takes approximately 2–3 hours for a typical home (up to 2,500 sq ft). Larger homes or those requiring additional testing may take up to 4 hours. You can remain in the home during the inspection.
